Zsófi Mussó, master and ceremony officiant, wedding manager, presenter, #FrenchCeremonyMaster, wedding host. The expert in refined, clean, elegant weddings, the creator of your unique, unrepeatable wedding moments.
Hungary’s first French-speaking Master of Ceremonies and to date the only wedding service provider who, as a wedding planner and officiant, has a perfect overview of your wedding in both French and English.
“The main characters of a good wedding are the bride and groom, so a good master of ceremonies does not try to be the centre of events, but rather, by constantly managing the background threads, he always steps in where and when the dramaturgy of the event requires it.”
The French Wedding – Experience, elegance, wedding art for your big day
Have the perfect dream wedding, even in French!
I am a great believer in making accurate plans in advance, so most of the work is done before the wedding. To do this, of course, I need you: to share your desires, dreams and ideas, so that I can build on them, using my decades of experience.
Even if there are recurring popular programme elements that often lead to success, I always strive to tailor them to your individuality.
If the planning period has been precise enough, on your Big Day you can feel free to give in to your emotions and enjoy your wedding to the full, putting aside the stress of coordination. You don’t have to worry about time, whether everyone is in place and knows their job. In the languages of your choice (Hungarian, French, English), I will manage all formal and informal programme elements, moderate events, coordinate suppliers, check props, equipment and timings.
Pay attention to the dynamics of the wedding: if your guests are in a good mood, chatting during a welcome, aperitivo, standing reception, or partying and dancing, you don’t force them to play games or program elements. However, if it requires support to boost morale, feel free to intervene.
Ideally, I’m also your wedding planner as much as you need me to be: helping you with the day of the wedding, choosing the service providers, other organisational tasks or full wedding planning and if you also entrust me with the role of the ceremony, then everything is perfectly in one hand. After all, after all that planning together, who better to know and represent your wishes than me!
I am Zsófi Mussó, founder of French Wedding: French-speaking Master of Ceremonies, wedding planner, and ceremony officiant specializing in international weddings. Wife and mother of two inimitable sons. These are the roles that give me credibility when I represent the celebration of the birth of a family.
As the first French-speaking Master of Ceremonies in Hungary, I started working in the international wedding market about 12 years ago, and since then I have been the only French-speaking complex wedding service provider who can even hold the roles of wedding planner, Master of Ceremonies and Master of Ceremonies in one hand.
I am based in Budapest and work on assignments all over Europe.

Although I specialise in French-language and cultural weddings, I can of course also cater for weddings with other international or even Hungarian guests. In such cases, I am usually chosen by couples who value a clean, refined and elegant style.
Of course, you can also assign sub-tasks. I only do off-peak services alone, from October to April, or last minute, for missed dates. However, you can be the Master of Ceremonies at any time of the year and it is up to you whether and to what extent you want to be involved in the organisation.
Of course I am also very happy to work with other colleagues. If we find a common voice, this is not an exclusion. Feel free to contact us!
Official marriages in Hungary can only be performed by a registrar employed by a public authority, so I cannot help you with this. However, I can translate the civil wedding ceremony performed by the registrar into French.
Church ceremonies, depending on the denomination, do not really like the presence of a lay interpreter and it is much more beautiful if the minister/priest who celebrates the ceremony can interpret it in two languages. Fortunately, pastors/priests are flexible to deliver to different locations and I have a very good relationship with a French-speaking celebrant in many denominations, so I am happy to help you find the right person. If for whatever reason we cannot find a better solution, it is of course possible for me to interpret parts of the ceremony.
Yes, of course. I interpret all formal and informal programme elements. In fact, I ask that you give my contact details to family members, witnesses and friends in advance. That way, if there are any surprises, we can arrange them in advance, I can calculate them into the schedule, but for you, the surprise is still there.
First, please fill in the application form so that I can see your requirements. I will definitely need to meet you in person (in Budapest) or online to get a more complex picture of you. If we then mutually decide to cooperate, we will confirm the agreement with a contract. This includes the payment schedule, which depends on the type of service, but in all cases includes an advance of between 30-50%, with the final payment being made at the end of the wedding.
Yes, I regularly take on assignments abroad in any role. I have worked in many places in France (Loire chateau, Provence, Brittany on the ocean coast) and in other countries (Switzerland, Germany, Italy). I’m also happy to travel wherever you dream your Big Day.
We strive for the best quality and to make your Big Day perfect. We cannot accept mediocre service. A lot of master of ceremonies, wedding planners and officiants focus on being cheap, which leads to terrible results. We are not one of them. Your Big Day is unique and unrepeatable, don’t leave it to beginners who have been spreading their wings for a few years. Believe me, a professional with more than a decade of experience and contacts will save you incomparably more annoyance, stress and – in many cases, with good organisation – a lot more money than the few extra percentages that his service costs. However, if you think in terms of a package and entrust us with the organisation and even the officiating in addition to the master of ceremonies, you can be sure that you will get a better price than if you choose these service providers individually.
